Stationary/Physical Items
Upstate Living has its own staff separate from the news. As the show continues to evolve before its launch date, some stationary and thank you cards for clients were created.
I was responsible for working with various vendors to get the correct amount of each item, designing each item, and making sure they were ready-to-print.

Thank You Cards. These cards are to be given to clients that wish to sponsor a segment of the show.

Show Design
Before designing the show, a little bit of research had to be done to capture the audience. The main demographic I had to appeal to were women between 35-65. It was a bit hard at first, especially with the age. Instead of thinking too hard with the age, I focused on the culture of Upstate New York. Research showed that the Upstate area is known for its art and music scene, agriculture/farmer's markets, festivals, and cabin/lake life.
Show Segments
Upstate Living is made up of multiple segments. Said segments cover topics such as fashion, women's health, finance, local restaurants, the outdoors, and so much more. Each show required a full-scale image and an intro animation to kick off the segment. We started off with 15 segments and two weeks to finish their designs. Click on each image to zoom in.
I wanted to showcase the "dirtier" side of home improvement. I wanted to show paint rollers, stained paint buckets, tools, etc. to showcase the hard work that goes into improving a house.

I wanted to keep this segment simple and clean. Courtrooms are usually wooden and have an old/wise vibe. I decided to use a coffee cup and a laptop to make it feel more personal, while the scale and gavel still brings it back to the fact its about legal advice.

I wanted Beyond the Bite to feel warm and cozy, much like the kitchen at home with a warm meal at the table.

Health is more than just diet, it is also mental and physical health. For Health Club, I wanted to encompass all of it.
