Full Scale Graphics (FSGs)
Full Scale Graphics are images that display quotes, show titles, dates/information, etc. They are usually made for the 4:00pm show on the same day, and are requested by news directors and anchors. Some of these graphics are requested early, while some had cutthroat time constraints (with some needing to be made in 15-20 minutes).
WTEN+
WTEN+ is Channel 10 in app form. This app is used on smart TVs Such as Roku, FireTV, Apple, and Samsung TVs. I was tasked with designing the final logo for the app (below), as well as creating logos, intros, and in-betweens/pushes for various shows exclusive to the app.
518 After Five
518 After Five is a WTEN+ show that discusses places and activities within the 518 area that you can visit/do after work. I was tasked with making an open and pushes for the show. Due to the show discussing things during the late afternoon after a long day at work, I wanted to have the mood be relaxing and laid-back.
For the pushes, I was inspired by Adult Swim's bumpers that are played during commercial breaks. The pushes were praised for being on-brand for Albany and leaning away from NEWS10's traditional pushes, without breaking away from the branding completely.
NEWS10 Logo Animation Campaign
This campaign started as a single logo animation for the 2025 Super Bowl. The animation was inspired by the SONY logo's animation. This Super Bowl animation played just before the game started.
This animation was so beloved that I was tasked to lead a logo campaign and create a unique animation for every holiday and sport event NEWS10 would broadcast. Each animation uses the same logo animation, but each one has a small gimmick that references the holiday/sport.
Bits & Boards
Bits & Boards is a show that covers both traditional board games and video games, particularly e-sports. Originally called 'Across the Board', this logo was particularly hard to design due to the show's wide scope. It was difficult to make a logo that didn't lean too hard into either the video game or board game theme. To fix this, we renamed the show to 'Bits & Boards', and was able to create a logo that catered to both game types. Depicted is a joystick with a 20-sided die (inspired by Dungeons & Dragons) affixed to the top.
Couch Potatoes
Couch Potatoes is a show where two film/tv buffs discuss their favorite TV shows and movies. For their show to air on time, I was given one week to provide all of the assets needed. This included a opening, a bumper, and a few monitor assets for the room they were going to be discussing these shows in. For Couch Potatoes in particular, the individuals who requested it really wanted it to stand out amongst the rest. To do this, I dabbled in a bit of low-poly 3D modeling for some of the assets.
The open was inspired by The Simpsons. Unlike the other shows made for WTEN+, this one used a few more in-house assets (the hand, the remote, the potato characters, etc). Different camera techniques were utilized for this intro, such as when the camera zooms into the TV. It was a challenging feat, but the intro was finished in about 2 days.
I based the push off of Adult Swim bumpers from the early 2000s. These bumpers were surreal, and were often accompanied by a chill/hip-hop soundtrack.
Couch Potato's tone always gave off a nightly/afternoon feel to it, so I had the bumper have a hip-hop/chill soundtrack accompany it, much like the music used during said bumpers late at night. The room was animated in Blender, and then exported to After Effects to be processed.

3D was always something I wanted to add in a few of my projects, but the opportunity never truly came about until now. To make the isometric version of the living room, I designed it in Blender and used a low-poly style.
518 Unsolved
518 Unsolved is a true crime show that follows unsolved mysteries that happened in the 518 area. These range from missing persons to homicides.
If there's one thing I love when it comes to making these CTV shows, it's adding little details, stories, and easter eggs to my work. It adds a bit of personality, and rewards attentive viewers.
Made in the 518
Made in the 518 is a show that covers small local businesses within the 518 area. They cover the foods they make, the art they create, or other things they make or sell.
For the logo, I was inspired by 'Made in the USA' stickers and stamps. Most Americans prefer to buy things that are made in the US, as it represents quality and supporting their fellow American. A stamp feels like a final/official mark, something that can't be smudged or easily wiped away. Because of that, I made the logo stamp-like.
Backpack Giveaway & Coats for Kids
News10 participates in the Backpack Giveaway, as well as Coats for Kids. These events involve giving away new and/or donated coats and backpacks to children who need them.
I was tasked with creating posters, ads, as well as the new logo for the upcoming events for next year.
I was tasked with creating posters, ads, as well as the new logo for the upcoming events for next year.
Due to an anchor leaving, I was tasked with using Photoshop to edit out old posters and replace them with the updated one. I ended up editing the new version of the poster onto already recorded videos.
The logo needed to be used for many mediums. These mediums included on-air monitors, billboards, print, and social media. This required it to be read and understood quickly.
I made the logos black & white at first to assess the silhouette. We rejected the snowflake but stuck with the zipper and the sans serif font. Later, the colors were chosen and the logo was further boiled down.

The poster on the clothes bin isn't actually there, it was rotoscoped frame-by-frame to make it appear in the space and obscured by the woman.
The poster here also isn't real.
