Terminally Online is a band that specializes in lofi music. A genre known for invoking nostalgia in its listeners. I was tasked to design their vinyl, CD, lanyard, ticket, and lyric book based on their new album; Memory Leak.

I was heavily inspired by VHS tapes such as the SONY T-120 and how it's box art uses shooting lines and bright colors to give off a super nostalgic mood. Nostalgia played a big role in the making of this album cover, as the band's specialty in lofi music invokes that feeling into its listeners. The grainy texture overlay makes it feel older and the Macintosh Plus was used due to its simple design, bright color palette in its logo, and the fact that the machine itself was built in the 80s. The ads used for the Macintosh Plus always placed it front and center on the page, so I decided to mimic this style as well to show off its iconic profile.
